Jim Griffiths developed an interest in motorcycles whilst still in his teens.  He completed a five year apprenticeship in motor vehicle engineering, which included motorcycles.

For a number of years he bought and sold motorcycles on a small scale, before opening a motorcycle dealership in 1980 in conjunction with a business partner.

Garland and Griffiths developed into a multi franchise dealership selling Suzuki, Kawasaki, Ducati, Motoguzzi, Peugeot and Triumph. In addition to the workshop facilities they also sold a large range of accessories and clothing.

Jim retired from the business in 1999 but has continued his involvement in motorcycles, through to the present day, with a particular interest in classic motorcycles.

We thought this was a good starting point but would be interested in your thoughts. He is hopelessly modest.  This has been like pulling teeth already.
